Bargain meals couldn’t get any cheaper! This weekend, make sure you go along to the Sunnybank $2 Food Trail. On June 17, Sunnybank Plaza and Sunny Park Shopping Centre invite all foodie lovers to experience Asian cuisines in the shopping centres.
Into its third year, the self-guided trail takes the culinarily curious on a trek of mini cuisines from around Asia. With flavours from Japan, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong and more, the mini dishes will leave you only $2 out of pocket per dish.
We suggest there’s no better time for you to hand over those loose coins. Take the family, invite friends and make a fun day of it. And if you’re lucky, you just might win this year’s grand prize worth $10,000! (A flight for four people anywhere in Asia).
The Sunnybank food trail is free. All you need to bring are the coins in your pocket and a very hungry tummy. And if the kids should get restless after a full feed, don’t despair. There will be roaming lion dancers and a new kids zone area, with giant board games, face painting and other free activities.
This popular suburban event has attracted crowds of more than 80,000 people. (Pop those dumplings into my mouth, that sounds like a busy street-food laneway in Hong Kong!) Joining existing foodie chains, this year the foodie trail welcomes Mr Curry, Chongqing Street Food and Narati Noodle and Grill into the mix.
