Iconic Burger Chain Wendy’s Just Opened Their Huge Flagship In Brisbane
World-famous burgs
By Natalie McGowan | 30th October 2025One of the world’s most famous burger joints, Wendy’s, has officially planted their signature red pigtails smack bang in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD – and not only is it a spectacle, it’s also the chain’s world flagship store. Introducing Haus of Wendy.

While it’s only the second Australian location after Surfers Paradise, Haus of Wendy is far from your average fast-food restaurant – it’s a bold, vibrant, and immersive restaurant concept experience designed to delight all the senses.
Located just off Queen Street Mall and overlooking King George Square, the two-level eatery features an open-air ground floor, a handmade bow installation by Brisbane artist Rachel Burke, and a hand-painted street-art mural celebrating quintessential Brisbane landmarks. Every corner of the space balances global Wendy’s flair with a distinctly local touch.

The fun doesn’t stop there. An interactive photo booth, colourful LED lighting, and a Frosty-inspired lounge make it as much a visual feast as a culinary one. And of course, the menu delivers on what fans love most: fresh, mouthwatering burgers crafted with Wendy’s signature patties and Frosty ice creams.
Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or simply to check out what all the fuss is about, there’s no denying this red-headed icon is making fast food fun again.

Haus of Wendy is open daily from 9am–10pm at 245 Albert Street, Brisbane CBD.
