Tama’s Late-Night Rebrand Is So Good, Even Drake Had To Check It Out

Where Brisbane’s cool crowd goes after dark

By Bianca Licina | 14th May 2025

Think dinner. Think drinks. Now think more. Tama Supper Club has refined itself and totally raised the bar for Brisbane’s late-night scene – and we’re absolutely here for it.

Nestled just off the James Street strip, Tama is what happens when sleek dining collides with the after-hours energy you usually have to fly to Melbourne (or New York) to find. It’s giving late-night luxury and it’s about damn time.

Let’s set the scene

Every Friday and Saturday from 5pm till late, Tama transforms into a high-energy, high-style hotspot with DJs spinning and a live sax player taking the vibe from cool to cosmically hot as the night ramps up. Forget heading home after dinner – this is where you stay, sip, snack and sway ’til the early hours.

On the menu

And if you think the atmosphere is unmatched, wait ’til you see what’s landing on the table. On the main menu, you’ll enjoy dishes packed with flavour designed to share, such as the Crab Bisque Linguine, Chicken Roulade and an assortment of steaks! Arriving after 10pm? TAMA’s new late-night menu is an unapologetic flavour bomb made for the bold. Think Beef Cheek Jaffle stuffed with mac & cheese, Wagyu Mini Cheeseburgers with gherkin mustard, Bug Roll with celery & aioli, Prawn Toast topped with prosciutto & yuzu (a Tama favourite!), Steak Sando with caviar & jus, Flaming Saganaki flamed tableside with honey vinegar & brandy, and Truffle & Pecorino Fries. Late-night just got that much better.

A-lister approved

It’s no wonder Tama’s already on the radar of A-listers and local stars alike – from Drake (yes, that Drake) to the Broncos boys and your favourite MAFS cast members. But don’t let the VIP list scare you off – this place is all about inclusivity with edge. Whether you’re dressed to the nines or rolling in post-dinner with a crew who isn’t ready for the night to end, Tama is your go-to.

It’s vibe dining for people who actually get what a vibe is. Think signature cocktails, seriously good eats, and that sweet spot between fine dining and a dancefloor. Not a club, not just a restaurant – it’s a true supper club experience.
