This Popular Melbourne Restaurant Has Just Landed In Brisbane

Supernormal, the Asian-inspired restaurant crafted by Andrew McConnell and Jo McGann, has opened along Brisbane’s riverside, and you better believe we’ve already secured a booking.
Located on Queen Street’s riverfront alongside the historic Customs House, Supernormal boasts views that make the food taste even better. Start your evening with a visit to Bar Miette, the Supernormal team’s other new venue, offering a Euro-inspired dining experience. Then, head up to Supernormal via the river boardwalk, take the stairs from Queen Street, or use the lift down to the boardwalk from Bar Miette.
The Menu
If you’ve been to their original Melbourne venue, you’ll be thrilled to know that their most popular menu items are available in Brisbane, along with some exclusive Brisbane-only additions.
With flavours inspired by the cuisines of Tokyo, Shanghai, Seoul, and Hong Kong, the menu at Supernormal is anything but ordinary. Expect dishes like half-crispy duck, New England lobster rolls, clay pot sticky pork rib dumplings, whole steamed coral trout with brown butter and lime dashi, Szechuan and yellow chilli poached Moreton Bay bugs, and whole mud crab with black pepper sauce.
