Craft Beer Legends Range Brewing Open A New Neighbourhood Bar In Paddington
Sip back
When it comes to the best places to enjoy a cold one, a good ol’ patio is up there. Patios have served as the backdrop in cherished memories for many Australians, and Paddington’s new neighbourhood bar is set to add more to the bank.
Patio is the latest venture from the Range Brewing crew, who hold certified legendary status in Brisbane’s craft beer scene. The sun-soaked watering hole pays tribute to their love of old-school Australian pubs, nestled in the charming Rosalie Village.
Bursting with character, Patio comes to life in an open-air pavilion that transforms into a leafy courtyard – perfect for a bite and a bevvy. The nostalgic feel is captured in rich burgundy tiles, dark oak timber, and rustic brick, with the interior bar boasting cosy booths and a window bar table. Combining Australiana-style with Italian alfresco culture, the locale brings Brisbane up to par with bars and restaurants across Sydney and Melbourne.
As for drinks, Range Brewing is on the taps (duh), with ten of their own beers, alongside two taps pouring wines the team has made in collaboration with LATTA Vino. Signature cocktails are also on the cards – like the Patio Old Fashioned with Bulleit Bourbon, Jack Daniels Black Label Scotch, Amaro Montenegro, maple syrup, and Angostura bitters – in a carefully curated list that draws on the expertise of established names in the Brisbane mixology scene.
The food menu sees the best of Australian and Italian flavours dished out, courtesy of Jacopo’s Pizza. Expect Roman-style pizza made from 48-hour sourdough, fresh Italian snacks, and the soon-to-be crowd-favourite Patio Meatball Sub with beef and nduja fried meatballs, basil oil, and parmesan.
Leaning into a quintessentially Queensland way of life, kick back and let the good times leisurely roll!
Patio is now open at 146 Baroona Road, Paddington.
