Beloved Sydney Chicken Institution Is Making Its Brisbane Debut

Cluck yeah

Nothing gets tongues wagging quite like the news of a cult-favourite eatery finally landing in town. With over 20 Chargrill Charlie’s stores already sizzling across the country, Queensland is finally being taken under its flavour-packed wings – and we’re ready to dig in.

Who’s behind it?

None other than Broncos player Jack Gosiewski and his partner Avalon McRae, who fell in love with Chargrill Charlie’s on their very first date in Sydney. It made such an impression, they knew they had to bring it home. Does it get more Brissy than that?

A labour of love, after 10 months of planning, the couple were committed to bringing the authentic experience to Brisbane, with a community focus on the forefront.

What’s on the menu?

True to the Chargrill Charlie’s DNA, expect rotisserie chicken, loaded burgers, DIY plates, fresh salads, crispy rolls, and all the cult-status sides you’ve been drooling over from afar.

Opening on 28 June on New Farm’s Merthyr Road, bring your appetite – because things are about to get clucking delicious.
