Now open for delivery or pick-up, Baretto is the bold new venue where the hand-stretched pizzas are packed with as much personality as flavour, offering the inner-city suburb another iconic foodie hotspot with a side of attitude.
Warning, Brisbane, you’re going to want to come equipped with a big appetite, portion control out the window, and ready for Italian comfort food turned up a notch.
Unfiltered & unapologetic
As the latest venue from Potentia Solutions Leisure, the hospo group behind The Hills of Rivermakers and Lina Rooftop, there is no doubt that Baretto will bring the vibes as well as the pizzas. They show up unapologetic, energetic, and ready to deliver indulgent Italian feasts.
Here, it’s back to the basics. There’s no measuring, just good old-fashioned instinct. And with their menu currently available for Kangaroo Point pickup and Brisbane-wide delivery, it’s easy access to all your cheat day meal desires.
They say they’re “Unfiltered. Crave-driven. Slightly reckless.” We call them just plain delicious.
What’s on the menu?
Pizzas are unsurprisingly front and centre on the menu, including all your faves done just right (margarita, meat lovers, supreme), as well as a premium range of deliciously unexpected delights. On one hand, you’ve got slow-cooked lamb and goat’s cheese with kalamata olives and Greek yoghurt, then on the other, a Surf & Turf served fresh with garlic prawns, pulled beef, white mozzarella, and herbs. But, if you’d prefer to carb-load with pasta over dough, try out their cannelloni or signature Angus beef lasagna for a hearty meal that hits different.
Then, as for sides, if you fancy a cheesy garlic bread (the cheese pull is chef’s kiss), the crispiest of arancini (they even have a cheeseburger flavour), or a little salad on the side (for balance, of course), they’ve well and truly got you covered. It’s also well worth saving up appetite for their loaded fries, served with a generous dose of pulled pork, bacon, gooey BBQ sauce, and mozzarella.
And you’ll want to leave room for dessert. To top it all off, dig into their decadent triple pistachio tiramisu, Biscoff cheesecake, or choc cream brownie cheesecake in a can – simply too good to share.
