euro flavours, brisbane feels

Move over, Euro summer – Brisbane’s getting its own slice of the Mediterranean. Fly your tastebuds to the coastlines of Europe without ever leaving Brisbane, thanks to a new Italian-inspired eatery opening its doors in Brisbane’s fav suburban hub.

The latest from the Ghanem Group Hospitality – the team behind institutions like Blackbird and Donna Chang – Alfi Eatery & Bar is set to bring casual, alfresco dining to Everton Plaza’s Park Lane in mid-2026.

Afli Eatery & Bar

The vibes

Essentially, Alfi is the best of both worlds – approachable dining mixed with Ghanem’s signature culinary excellence. Inspired by the Amalfi coastline, Alfi’s atmosphere will be easy, breezy – a community-centric hub where families and large groups can gather for relaxed energy, flowing wine, and some seriously good food.

Featuring seamless indoor dining that spills out onto a 200-seat alfresco courtyard, Alfi will be Everton Plaza’s largest food and beverage venue. Featuring an impressive U-shaped bar, a large open kitchen, and a light-filled courtyard arbour, the venue has all the features of the next neighbourhood hotspot in the making.

The food

With Italian-inspired eats at its core, Alfi will be serving up refined flavours in true Ghanem style. After the recent opening of Lúc Lắc at Queens Wharf and the relaunch of Byblós 2.0 at Portside Wharf, Ghanem Group Hospitality Director, Adonis Ghanem, expands his portfolio, bringing his elevated taste buds to the suburbs.

Expect an approachable menu packed with authentic Mediterranean flavours, complemented by an amazing cocktail and wine list, of course.

The space

Full of modern Mediterranean-inspired design, the space is wrapped in soft pastels and light timbers, accentuated by Italian stone marble. Inside, discover curved finishes, communal table settings, and rich curtains allowing for private soirees – a refined setting for your next energetic family feed.

Meanwhile, Alfi’s outdoor dining will possess all the elements of an alfresco Amalfi eatery. Feel right at home basking in those quintessential QLD rays, soaking up the ambiance of the airy patio seating with a cool breeze, fabulous company, and a spritz in hand.
