The Secret To Unlocking Your Inner And Outer Beauty With Olga Newman
THE POWER OF TOUCH
By Natalie McGowan | 2nd October 2025Our faces often hold on to what we sometimes forget, but Olga Newman knows how to set those memories free and restore balance.
At 35, Olga Newman found herself facing something many women quietly wrestle with: a creeping insecurity about her reflection. “My face began to collapse downward, and I hated my photos, always covering myself with foundation,” she says.
It was strange for me to hear, because the Olga I met one Monday afternoon at KAILO Medispa seemed not only confident, but looked truly radiant.
At 42, the mother of two boys, her skin is tight and glowing, and she has such an air of self-assuredness that I never would have guessed she once struggled with her appearance.
Born in Siberia, where winters could drop to minus 35 degrees, she grew up surrounded by raw nature, spending much of her childhood with her grandparents on their farm, learning the rhythms of the land and the magic of traditional medicine.
From insecurity to radiance
Those early lessons would later entwine with her own health struggles as a teenager, when hospital visits for her spine and posture left her living with chronic pain, and again later in life, when she struggled with the first signs of ageing. “I began to work on my own face with my own hands, and saw a huge transformation,” she says.
That personal turning point became the seed of what is now The Face Up Method™ – a practice that draws from her experiences in different cultures and continents and reshapes not only the face, but the body, energy, and spirit.
Stepping into the treatment room
When I was invited to experience The Face Up Method™ with Olga, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Facial sculpting, somatic release, and nervous system regulation were all promised, and it sounded somehow both clinical and spiritual in equal measure.
The treatment itself surprised me: only part of the session was spent on my face, the rest working through interconnected pathways in the neck, chest, and jaw. Tension I hadn’t even realised I was holding on to began to dissipate, and it was around the halfway mark that I drifted off. “The Face Up Method™ is like taking your soul out of your body for a few minutes, clearing away the tension, shaking off the blockages that have built up, and then gently putting it back, renewed,” Olga explains.
Results that go deeper than the skin
When I looked in the mirror afterwards, the results were immediately apparent: glowier skin, a more contoured jawline, brighter eyes. But it was the inner effects that felt more profound – no more jaw tension, my lingering headache dissolved, and my whole body felt lighter.
For Olga, those invisible results are the whole point. “Today we live in a culture chasing quick fixes, but I see how those choices often play against us later – in both our health and our appearance. Touch, by contrast, builds strength and beauty that last…We begin with the face, but the transformation continues on every level: energetic, somatic, and through the soft tissues all the way down to the bones. That is why the results are so powerful.”
Having now worked with more than 2,000 faces, each carrying its own history and emotional imprint, Olga is as much a wellness practitioner as she is a catalyst for change. “I’ve had students/clients lose 13 kilograms in a month they could never shift before just by returning to original body settings, or they experience breakthroughs that ripple into every part of life.”
A date with yourself
Appointments are personalised, beginning with what Olga calls “a date with yourself” – an in-depth assessment of face, body, stress levels, and lifestyle before moving into the session. Beyond the treatment room, Olga continues to empower her clients, guiding them to integrate the practice at home through The Face Up Club, an app she created to help women incorporate the benefits of The Face Up Method™ into their daily rituals.
Olga’s philosophy is simple but powerful: beauty begins with understanding your body’s uniqueness. And in her hands, you might just find that beauty goes far beyond surface level.
