MECCA’s Largest Store Is Opening in Melbourne This August

Opening August 8, 2025, this will be the largest beauty destination in the Southern Hemisphere located right on the iconic Bourke Street. In fact, it’s three times larger than MECCA’s George Street store in Sydney.
Spanning 4000-square-metres across three stunning levels, the flagship store will occupy the iconic site of E.W. Cole’s Book Arcade.
“It reimagines what experiential retail can be, fusing creativity, culture, and collaboration to create something so much more than a store — it’s the Mecca of all Meccas.” Mecca Founder and Co-CEO, Jo Horgan says.
With everything you could possibly need under one roof, MECCA Bourke Street will house more than 200 beauty brands and over 80 services. From makeup applications and brow transformations to an apothecary with an in-house naturopath and an interactive perfume gallery, this flagship has it all.
Exclusive to MECCA Bourke Street, the Beauty Atelier offers hair, makeup, and nail services, led by world-renowned hair stylist Josh Wood and Melbourne’s best manicurists, Trophy Wife.
Need a break? Take a pit spot between shopping and appointments at their in-house cafè.
Then head up to the gifting mezzanine, your one-stop destinations for presents, featuring jewellery, engraving services, and a florist to make every gift extra special.
