1. Primer
“It provides a weightless, invisible barrier between your skin’s natural oils and sweat and keeps your foundation in place – ours (Issada Canvas Primer, $75) also has a cooling base of aloe.”

2. Waterproof Colour
“Waterproof shadow and liners will stay in place during a sizzling summer. Start with a base like our Antioxidant Shadow Magnet ($40) that will lock your colour down for hours and then add your waterproof colour.”

3. The Power of Rice
“Set your complexion with a dusting of rice powder, press it onto your T-zone with a sponge, your pores will be invisible and it will fight shine all day. It doesn’t build up coverage it just sets your foundation so it never looks cakey.” Issada Mineral Rice-Setting Powder, $75.

1. Cool Foundations
“I use a water-based foundation all year round (ModelCo Fluid Splash 3-in-1 Foundation $25) which doesn’t feel thick or heavy on the skin and I also use my self-tanners all year to maintain a glow and so I don’t need a lot of coverage.”

2. Lip Pop
“I love wearing a bright lip in summer, you always look like you have something going on when you have a bright lip! I love our Party Proof in Lipstick Disco Fever ($17) and I always carry our Shine Ultra Lip Gloss in Strip Tease ($20).”

3. Final Spritz
“I love to spritz my face in summer – I use our Beauty Fix Airbrush Face ($24) over my make-up, it sets it so it doesn’t move all day and also our Replenishing Rose Facial Mist ($20) that controls and balances your oil production all day, tightens pores and hydrates the skin.”

1. Less is Best
“Don’t layer too many products on your skin in the heat, opt for oil-free, water-based primers and foundations. Our Mattifying Mineral Primer ($39) is perfect, you can wear it under your foundation to prep skin and absorb shine or on top to set your base.”

2. All About That Base
“Use a nude eye shadow all over your lid as a base before adding any other colour. This will act as a barrier and stop any excess oil before it ruins the rest of your make-up. Try Color Disc Skinny Dip or Trench Coat ($29).”

3. Repel Water
“Use a waterproof eyeliner and mascara to avoid panda eyes. Our China Doll waterproof gel liner ($39) comes in lots of colours and you can use it as a liner or smudge on the lid and it won’t move.”

1. Banish make-up
“My best tip for preventing summer make-up dripping off your face?  Don’t wear any! Being well groomed can remove the need to wear make-up and let your beauty shine through.”

2. Look After Your Lashes
“Lash extensions ($150) and tints ($30) can remove the need for mascara while framing and opening up your eyes. You will look fab everyday, including first thing in the morning!”

3. Skin That Glows
“Treat yourself to a natural herbal peel so your skin looks glowy and perfect without the need for makeup (prices vary) and maintain your tan with a regular, natural-looking spray tan, which is our speciality ($40).

1. Silicone Prevents Streaks
“Try a silicone-based foundation (my Luminous Foundation $65 is perfect), they provide a water-resistant finish that repels sweat from the skin so you never get a streaky face.”

2. Set Your Brows
“Always use waterproof brow and eye products. Try a feather touch brow look with my Brow Defining Pen ($30), it’s so natural and stays in place all day.”

3. Invisible Blotting
“Combat excess oil with a colourless blotting powder (Invisible Blotting Powder $44), that absorbs oil and shine without adding extra colour or chalkiness.”
