When it comes to group beauty experiences, Brooke Jesberg from Brooklyn Beauty Bar certainly knows how to get the party started. We chatted with Brooke about all things pampering, partying and how the two combine.

So, what are you finding groups are getting into this season?
There are so many events on this time of year, which means there are lots of excuses to get pampered. Our blow dry/upstyle and makeup parties are a favourite amongst our clients. With your besties and a cocktail in hand, it takes the stress out of getting ready.

It’s also wedding season, how are brides celebrating?
A new thing is brides throwing ‘Bridesmaid Announcement’ parties, where brides-to-be organise a get together (with a manicure and a glass of bubbles) and announce that the group will be her bridesmaids.

What about when it gets closer to the wedding?
It’s such a fun and exciting time for the bride and her family and pre-wedding pamper parties are a great way for her to catch up with friends and family. The obvious benefit of the experience is walking away with amazing lashes, nails and skin!

What are these beauty dates, we keep hearing about?
A while ago we noticed that friends would come in together mid-week in the evening so they could have a brow sculpt, share a cocktail and catch up on the latest goss. They have become such a common thing that we had to give it a name, ‘Beauty Dates’. In our everyday busy lives, beauty dates mean we can catch up whilst still getting our beauty maintenance fix.
