One of everything, please.
The David Jones Spring Summer 2017 launch was held last night, and if the expertly-selected edit of next seasons looks presented is anything to go by, it’s clear to see we’re in for a very pretty (and very pink) Spring Summer.
Guests dined on a three-course menu by chef, Neil Perry, at long dining tables which were later transformed into the runway. Led by a newly-blonde Jesinta Franklin (she spent 16 hours dying her locks ahead of the show!) and Victoria’s Secret supermodel, Shanina Shaik, the key trends for Spring Summer appear to be frills, lace, 80’s sportswear, lots of pink in every shade, splashes of leopard print, against a backdrop of black and white.
The fashion set were treated to exclusive previews from the likes of Aussie designers, Alice McCall, Aje, P.E Nation and Zimmermann.
Make room in your wardrobe for plenty of ruffles, floaty hemlines, metallics and lace paired with bold (think black, white and silver) footwear choices. Here’s a selection of our fave runway looks. If only we had Jesinta’s abs.
