Whether you’re paring it back with your favourite denims or layering it underneath a jacket, the perfect t-shirt can be hard to come by. After years of trying to find the perfect tee, Rebel Cavallucci decided to create a fashion range of her own: Frances Hendrie.

Rebel wanted to create a brand that offered a great-quality and great-fitting range of timeless basic t-shirts.

Fast-forward a year: Frances Hendrie is set to release its second collection of tees just in time to celebrate the brand’s first birthday.


Rebel explains that the new collection is inspired by a “less is more approach to dressing – keeping things very raw and simple.

“Jeans, shorts and a tee is sometimes better than styling everything together,” says Rebel. “I am thinking of it as a blank canvas for customers to put their own spin on the styling aspects of our shirts.”

On Friday, March 24, from 9.30am-5pm, Rebel will host the first-ever Frances Hendrie pop-up shop at 181 Robertson Street (just off Fortitude Valley’s James Street). For one day only, Brisbane locals could be the first to check out the AW17 range and view the latest campaign in a gallery-style format.
