Put on your best cheesy grins and sally forth for a taste.
Many a night, after a long week, I have spent my Saturday evening looking lovingly into a plate of brie. I usually invite a glass of sparkling along, because you can’t have one without the other, can you? Or is that just me?
Now the good people at Cheese Therapy have created an event for cheese lovers like myself. Saturday, June 3, will see a celebration of all things bubbly and brie-smeared at Baedeker Wine Bar in the Valley.
The event will involve tasting bries from around the world, including some from Australia’s most productive dairy districts. Never been travelling, you say? That’s okay, we only travel to taste different cheeses anyway, right?
If a certain cheese takes your fancy, a pop-up delicatessen on the night can provide you with a take-home supply.
This is the perfect night to challenge those cheese-tasting skills you have acquired over years of practice. No one needs an excuse to eat cheese, but it’s nice to hang with like-minded people and praise cheeses – even if you are just preaching to the choir.
