You feta believe it’s gonna be a gouda one!
When asked to name two of our greatest loves in life, it’s no surprise that champagne and cheese is up there with puppies and free stuff.
If like us, the thought of clinking a glass of bubbles, tasting countless French cheeses and basking in the sun sounds like your idea of the perfect weekend, then do we have some grate news for you.
This year, Portside Wharf will see the return of their annual Cheese & Champagne pop-up event on Saturday, March 10, and Sunday, March 11.
Portside Wharf favourites, The Cheese Pleaser and Gusto da Gianni are teaming up with Moët & Chandon for a weekend of decadence. So, take a seat in the special pop-up lounge or pull out your favourite picnic blanket, because things are about to get indulgent.
The Cheese & Champagne Pop-up is renowned for showcasing some of the best international cheeses that we’re lucky enough to have on offer down under and this year is no different.
The free event welcomes all cheese and champagne connoisseurs to delight in the weekend experience that will treat your taste buds to the best cheese and champagne in the biz. Guests will have the option to purchase platters for $15 which includes a platter of handpicked cheeses perfectly curated by cheese expert, Sharyn de Kort from The Cheese Pleaser.
This year will feature three kinds of cheese including Le Dauphin, Comte and Blue D’Auvergne served with The Cheese Pleaser’s signature apple & walnut chutney and biscuits.
And it would be rude not to wash it all down with a glass or bottle of Moët & Chandon Champagne or one of the fine wines on offer.
To keep the good vibes pumping and the bubbles flowing, Portside Wharf have organised a lineup of live music from local artists across the Cheese & Champagne pop-up weekend.
