Why should kids have all the fun?
Sadly, Easter loses some of its lustre once you reach adulthood and realise the Easter Bunny isn’t doing the heavy lifting anymore. But this year, the master chocolatiers at 31 Degrees Custom Chocolate are throwing it back to those simpler, childhood memories, with a fully-fledged Easter egg hunt for us big kids!
On Saturday, April 8, the 31 Degrees Easter Egg Hunt (for grown-ups only!) will be kicking off at 11am.
Either hunt solo, or as part of a team (up to four members). The entry fee is $20 per ticket (those hunting as a team can share the same ticket) and includes a charity donation to BeyondBlue.
The adventure will send you down the rabbit hole, with the Easter trail leading you through various Brisbane foodie locations. Clues will be leaked at each location to spur you on in your journey. Those eager beavers with a competitive streak can chase extra points by hashtagging Instagram posts, or answering bonus questions.
As if spending a chocolate-fuelled Saturday with your mates isn’t incentive enough, the top three entrants will be awarded lush chocolate hampers courtesy of 31 Degrees. We’re getting a sugar high just thinking about it!
The guys over at 31 Degrees are recommending that participants either complete the hunt on foot or bike, but there is always the cheeky public transport option if your energy starts to flag. And don’t worry – unlike those tyrants who try to ban phones at your local pub trivia night, Google searching is encouraged for this Easter egg hunt!
Get your team together quick sticks – tickets are on sale NOW until 5pm on April 1.
