Rosé is easily the friendliest of wines. With so many types to choose from, from so many corners of the world, it’s the pink plonk that really brings us all together. From birthday bashes to summer sessions, there’s no time or place that doesn’t call for a glass or two of this blush-toned bev. When we think of rosé, we consider it the perfect wine for everything from barbeques, picnics, and beach days, through to lazy evenings in front of the TV. Queue: a rosé festival!

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to indulge in a few glasses of the not-so-humble pour, then you’ll be excited to know that Rosé Revolution is returning to our sunny city once again this summer! Hosted at the gorgeous Brisbane Powerhouse right on the Brisbane River, Rosé Revolution is a celebration of everyone’s favourite drink: wine. Enjoy roving canapés all afternoon as you sample 12 different free-flowing rosés from a variety of premium suppliers, all while supporting an amazing cause. $5 from every ticket sold will go to Share The Dignity; a not-for-profit organisation that aims to make personal hygiene supplies more accessible for women in need and the homeless. With tickets only $65, this is the perfect way to kickstart summer.

So, kick back with a glass or two (we won’t judge you for double-parking), take in the view, nibble on all manner of tasties, and support a fantastic organisation.
