If you think life can’t possibly get much better than enjoying Sunday drinks with your friends, I’m here to prove you wrong: this month, Brisbane is getting a pop-up puppy bar.

That’s right. A bar where it’s socially acceptable to pat as many dogs as you like. In fact, it’s encouraged!

On March 19, as part of this year’s craft beer festival Brewsvegas, Collective Kitchen & Bar will be hosting Hair of the Dog.

The event will see guests enjoy a charcoal BBQ, dog-inspired craft beers such as Wolf of the Willows and Moon Dog, and a large astro-turfed area for you and the pups to play.

Did we mention all of the puppies at the pop-up puppy bar will be up for adoption?

If you’re ready to welcome a special four-legged friend into your life, the search ends here. Little Legs Dog Rescue will be on-site with the orphaned pups for a day full of endless cuddles and puppy-dog eyes.

Not ready to become a full-time pet owner but still want to get in on the action? You’ll be able to make a difference on the day just by enjoying yourself at the venue; a portion of sales will be donated a fabulous animal charity.
